My homeowners association prevented access to Direct TV Satellite TV by making the “common area” to encroach up 5” of the exterior walls of my condo. Using this rule they prevented me from installing in side yard not visible form the street a 18” satellite dish. The HOA and Little and Sons Property management did this to protect their contract with Time-Warner cable. As a condo property owner you are required to purchase basic cable services. My exclusive area ( a patio ) cannot receive a signal, however within 18” of the wall on the ground of my Condo I could have received a signal. The HOA and Management company seems to allow other objects like flags (non American), bird feeders, HVAC units and other objects to extend into this zone. Who can I complain about this prevention of access? |
